FFA 231 W3/4 (Mechanics of Motion) : Introducing Your Partner / Trusting Yourself & Others

Subject     : FFA231 (Mechanics of Motion)
Semester  :  FF115 III B
Exercise    : W3/4 (Introduce Your Partner / Trusting Yourself & Others)

- INTRODUCING YOUR PARTNER -

We probably will say that we knew a lot about our friends since we've been fighting on the same battlefield for almost 2 years now. But when it comes to this assignment, which called "Introducing your partner", you would be surprised at how little we really knew about each of our friends. This assignment teaches us about how important it is to trust ourselves and also trusting others around us.

As a pair (which is me and Chot), we and the others have been given some time to chat about our lives with each other. It doesn't matter what you want to tell your partner, you just have to make your partner know more about yourself.

Like always when it comes to introducing ourselves, it always starts with typical questions in an intro, "Where do you live?" "What is your favorite food and drink?" or "What is your favorite colour?". It's a boring question, but I'm sure most of us didn't really know where each of us came from, the place that we've been grown up at, the food that we always ordered at Kandang, and the colours that we always pick when we want to make an artwork. This "boring" questions will tell you the answers on the things that made yourself who you are now.

Turns out we both actually have something in common, we both are village kids, both have interest in motorcycle stuff (I "have" the interest but doesn't have that much knowledge about it), and both have the interest of fighting scene animations (which we both also agreed that the fighting scene of Kakashi vs Obito from the anime "Naruto" is the best fight scene).

"Why do you pick animation?"
This question, which will tell us the reason why we took this course. It's also a question that I love to ask, a question that will show me why each of us animation students even took this course. I told mine the reason, he told his.

What's your reason?

After we've finished introducing ourselves, now each of us needs to tell to the whole class everything that we can grasp from the intro, without "improvising" or adding any details beyond what we've gained earlier. I think we both did a great job (although I accidentally introducing Chot using his father's name first).

Chot : Muhammad Fahmi bin Fuad

- TRUSTING YOURSELF -

"Trusting yourself" is a task where we as a pair acts as if we are in a situation (which we both choose being on a bus). From that situation we've imagined ourselves in, we have to do some conversation using the information we've gained from the "Introducing your partner" part as the topic inside it.

- TRUSTING OTHERS -

Being assigned to a new pair (Me and ZatNon), we will now enter a new phase for today's assignment, "Trusting Yourself & Others". I had to be blindfolded while my partner which is ZatNon had to escort me around the room full of the other students as obstacles, from them making a hand bridge to the most extreme and complicated obstacles they could make. While trying to pass all the ridiculous obstacles and being guided by my partner, I have to tell a story along the way (which I failed, miserably).

Me while being blindfolded and ZatNon being the guider.

Even if I (kinda) failed this one, it teaches me on how important having faith on your friends. ZatNon did his best on being my guide, then I've tried my best to believe him.
