- LEVEL SELECTED : HARD -

This week, we were given an assignment which is kind of similar to the previous assignment, Tracing the Monkey, but this time, harder and more challenging.

We start off with each of us came to the lecturer (which is our beloved Puan Norhasheila Muharramwith a bunch of vector artworks that we picked from the internet, the lecturer then will pick one of those artworks for us to trace using Adobe Illustrator as a homework for our holiday.

The vector artwork that has been chosen for me:

Bitmap images are stored as a series of tiny dots called pixels. Each pixel is actually a very small square that is assigned a color and then arranged in a pattern to form the image.

Unlike bitmaps, vector images are not based on pixel patterns but instead use mathematical formulas to draw lines and curves that can be combined to create an image from geometric objects such as circles and polygons.

As one of the tasks in this assignment is to print the product, using vector method have more advantages over bitmap images when it comes to qualities. When printed, vector images are more scalable than bitmap images, which will result in making the image blurry and we can notice the jagged edges of the image.

It really took a long time to finish this assignment, but when we finally printed it out onto a paper, we are very satisfied with the result.
